Kyneton is a rural town, 40 minutes drive north of Melbourne on via Calder highway. The Kyneton & District Poultry Club Inc has been going for many years and currently has 50+ members who keep a wide range of poultry. Some of us breed and show poultry; some of us keep poultry for eggs. The Kyneton Poultry Club Inc. is a “Not for profit” community based group and all proceed go to the continued refurbishment of our pavilion and promotion of poultry in general.
Come and see what we are about!
Guests are made most welcome at our general meetings held on the first Thursday of every month. We usually have a guest speaker share their experience with some aspect of keeping poultry followed by questions and then general discussion with a cup of tea. Meetings start at 7:30pm at the Horace Don Pavilion at the Kyneton Show Grounds, corner of Mollison & Beauchamp Streets (to the right once inside the main gates then down opposite the goal posts).
